Petitioner, an applicant for a real estate salesperson license, was granted a license despite that she had allowed her real estate appraiser license to lapse five years earlier when, unbeknownst to her, she was under investigation.  Although she had also been subjected to discipline in the past for defaulting on student loans, multiple character witnesses testified to her strong work ethic and good moral character. Thus, Petitioner carried her burden to prove that she meets the qualifications for licensure as a real estate salesperson.
