The Department of Public Health sought to disqualify Petitioner, a vendor, from the Georgia Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) for program violations discovered during an audit.  Specifically, the vendor redeemed WIC vouchers in amounts that were not supported by its documented inventory, purchased infant formula from a supplier that was not on the state-approved supplier list, and failed to provide detailed sales and purchase documentation at the request of auditors.  Pursuant to federal regulations, the appropriate sanction was a three-year disqualification from Georgia WIC.
