The Georgia Board of Dentistry discovered after conducting peer review that Respondent, a licensed dentist, fell below minimum acceptable and prevailing standards for the industry in performing several root canals, including one instance in which Respondent performed a root canal “in the bone rather than the root structure.”  Respondent’s poor care will likely result in future dental and/or medical issues for the affected patients.  Respondent’s record-keeping also failed to meet minimal standards and, in some instances, did not reflect that he informed his patients of the botched operations.  Accordingly, his license was revoked.
