Othellious Cato, who sought to be a candidate in the House District 154 race, failed to appear at a hearing to answer a challenge to his residency qualification. As he failed to appear without good cause, the Court ruled that he did not meet his burden of proving he satisfied the residency requirement. Mr. Cato was therefore disqualified from the race.
