The Professional Standards Commission (PSC) proposed to suspend Petitioner’s teaching certificate for one year after an investigation by the Dougherty County School System determined that she misrepresented her income on an application in order to receive reduced-price school lunches for her child.  As Petitioner’s conduct violated the Code of Ethics for Educators and Petitioner’s testimony that she unintentionally misrepresented her income was not credible, the PSC’s proposed sanction was affirmed.
