A food-stamp applicant appealed the denial of his application by claiming he should not be considered an “Able Bodied Adult without Dependents,” or ABAWD, who must meet certain work requirements.  He contended he was exempt from these requirements due to an injury he sustained several years earlier. Because the applicant did not provide documentation of his injury or his inability to work the minimal 20 hours a week, the Court affirmed the application’s denial.
