Petitioner appealed Respondent’s decision to terminate his position as a classified employee. Respondent terminated Petitioner when a female coworker observed him viewing pornographic images in the workplace. Network security personnel traced Petitioner’s deleted browser history and discovered 25 visits to pornography sites. The GDOT Employee Handbook specifically prohibited this activity. Respondent also cited Petitioner’s ongoing poor work performance and his violation of sexual harassment policies. Petitioner failed to effectively rebut any of the allegations of misconduct. Therefore, Respondent’s decision to terminate Petitioner was AFFIRMED.
