A mother of a student who was diagnosed with ADHD filed a complaint against the school district, alleging that the district violated the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) by failing to identify her child’s disability and accommodate him as such. Upon reviewing the evidence, including the child’s academic and disciplinary records, the Court ordered an involuntary dismissal of this complaint because the parent had failed to demonstrate that the district overlooked any “clear signs of disability.”
