The Georgia Real Estate Commission sought to impose sanctions against Respondent’s real estate associate broker’s license. Respondent unlawfully engaged in real estate brokerage activities while her license was on inactive status when she worked as a property manager for an apartment complex. The Commission issued a fine and Respondent refused to pay it, stating that she did not violate any laws. Under applicable Georgia law, real estate brokerage activity specifically includes property management services. Thus, the Judge SUSPENDED Respondent’s license until she attends a course of study in real estate brokerage.
