The Department of Early Care and Learning terminated an individual’s participation in the Summer Food Service Program, which provides nutritious meals to children during the summer school break.  On appeal, the Court upheld the termination, finding that (i) the individual was the “Responsible Principal” in charge of the organization providing meals; (ii) he had failed to ensure that accurate records were maintained justifying all the meals the organization provided; and (iii) he did not follow up on any corrective actions sought by the Department.
