Petitioner’s physical limitations were not intense or frequent enough to qualify for the level of care provided in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or intermediate care facility, as required to be eligible for the Katie Beckett class of assistance.  One unit of skilled occupational and physical therapy per week, as prescribed by a doctor, without additional skilled services, is insufficient to meet the level of care requirement for eligibility.  Additionally, although Petitioner’s condition temporarily worsened following surgery, Petitioner did not need any additional skilled nursing or rehabilitation services.
