The Professional Standards Commission was authorized to suspend Petitioner’s teaching license for tampering with student attendance data for purposes of meeting Georgia’s Adequate Yearly Progress assessment. However, the suspension was modified from one year to sixty days because (1) years have passed since the incident without evidence of any further misconduct; (2) she has already been demoted to a position with no administrative duties; (3) she had acted, in part, at the direction of a supervisor; and (4) in recognition of her otherwise long and unblemished record.
