The Department of Public Safety correctly assessed a fine against a truck operator for exceeding the 80,000-pound limit for state roads while transporting a trailer with woodchips. Although woodchips are a “forest product,” they do not qualify for the higher 88,000-pound limit for such products because the operator was hauling them from a lumber mill, instead of “from the forest where cut.”
