Minor’s failure to adhere to conditions of DJJ community placement resulted in revocation.

Petitioner is a youth committed to the Department of Juvenile Justice. The Department revoked Petitioner’s community placement for failure to comply with the conditions of his placement. Petitioner has been sanctioned for a total of five placement violations, including his failure to provide a urine sample for purposes of random drug testing on two occasions.

The Professional Standards Commission sought to suspend Petitioner’s teaching certificate for 90 days after she resigned as principal at the Ivy Preparatory Academy at Kirkwood for Boys after providing only five days’ notice. Judge affirms the Professional Standards Commission’s sanction of a teacher for her behavior during administration of the CRCT.

Petitioner, a sixth grade math teacher, administered the CRCT to her classroom after attending training on how to administer the test. During the training, the Test Examiner’s Manual is reviewed.
